Welcome message from the VidEv 2013 chairs

چکیده
According to recent estimations, mobile video traffic is expected to be two-thirds of the global mobile traffic by 2014. This creates a number of significant challenges that need to be addressed and overcome before the full potential of mobile video networking is reached. After a very thorough and selective process, our workshop includes 5 papers which point out problems and propose important solutions for some of these challenges. We believe and hope that the workshop will help bring together researchers from industry and academia in order to discuss their views on the future of mobile video.
